Jeep Cherokee SRT 2024 New Model, Release Date, Price

Jeep Cherokee SRT 2024 New Model, Release Date, Price – The fifth generation of the 2024 Jeep Cherokee has been available in the United States of America for approximately fifty years. It is an alternative to the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 that has seven seats, can go off-road and can pull up to 4,500 pounds.

Jeep offers three engine options for the Cherokee, ranging from a 180-horsepower 2.4-liter Tigershark to a 271-horsepower V6 and a 270-horsepower 295-pound-feet-of-torque 2.0T four-cylinder engine. The lineup is fitted with a nine-speed automatic transmission and offers front-or all-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive standard on the Trailhawk model, making it one of the most capable compact crossovers for off-roading.

Each trim level of the 2024 Jeep Cherokee is outfitted with an assortment of unique accessories. All new vehicles come standard with LaneSense lane departure alerts, which aid you in keeping in your lane even at high speeds. Full-speed forward collision warning with active braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-path recognition, and rain-sensing windshield wipers are standard on all new vehicles.

Front power windows are standard on the Latitude, while the Latitude Plus and Trailhawk include heated front seats, remote start, and other options. Standard features of the new Latitude Lux include nappa leather seats and a heated steering wheel. The Limited model is better than the Lux model because it has a sunroof with two panes, headlights that turn on and off automatically, and adaptive cruise control.

Interior

Even the most basic Jeep model has a sleek and pleasant cabin, erasing Jeep’s reputation as a builder of utilitarian, stripped-down automobiles. The inside of the 2024 Jeep Cherokee is unchanged. Even though the exterior is modest, the inside is comfortable, family-friendly, and luxurious, in part because it is based on the design of the larger Grand Cherokee.

All the knobs and buttons are easily accessible to the driver, and the build quality is excellent. The interior, however, is less spacious than the segment’s best, with little space for ordinary storage. Similarly, the trunk space is insufficient, especially considering the Cherokee’s outside dimensions.

Engine

There are three engine options, some of which are trim-specific. From Latitude to altitude, the 2.4-liter Tigershark four-cylinder engine is standard equipment. This engine generates 180 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque, but requires high rpm to work properly. It is not our preferred engine, and we do not believe that its comparatively large displacement immediately equates to drivability. Much of this is due to the fact that the nine-speed automatic gearbox does not know what to do, cannot engage ninth gear, and is always searching for the correct action.

Up to and including the Trailhawk, the remainder of the lineup is powered by a 3.2-liter Pentastar V6 engine, a scaled-down version of the larger 3.6-liter unit featured in virtually every other Jeep vehicle sold north of the Cherokee. Although a V6 engine is uncommon in the compact crossover sector, this one produces 271 horsepower and 239 pound-feet of torque, contributing to the vehicle’s exceptional towing capacity. It is combined with the same transmission. In spite of this, it exceeds the competition in some respects, including a deeper low-end growl and a more potent high-end. Because it has a naturally aspirated torque curve, it can be used off-road, making it a great addition to the Trailhawk.
